Wedding | Kessler

The very first travel wedding and I could not have asked for a better venue, couple, weather, decoration and season...fall. The whole day was beautiful and the venue at Norskedalen Nature and Heritage Center was something you would find in a National Geographic magazine as one of the world's hidden beauties. As my husband and I made the drive to the location, the view was filled with curvy roads, hills filled with colorful fall trees, farms and hardly any cars or buildings. It just brought inspiration out of you. Nature has a way of doing that to you. I was so honored to have been brought to this magical place to capture a couple who is known for their kindness and servant heart's to others. The whole day was special to watch as we celebrated their love to each other and their love to their Jesus by showing an example to each other by washing of the feet. Every wedding I have been to or have captured that has this as part of the ceremony always brings tears of joy to me to know that they want to be an example of serving others by serving each other. It was a peaceful ceremony and the reception was a sweet time of toasts sharing, mingling, laughter and special moments.  I wish I could share every image from the day with you all but there isn't enough space on one page. The hubby and I hope to visit Coon Valley, WI again in the future.

All the Lafayette crew that made it up to Wisconsin for the big day.

A special thank you to all those who were involved in making the day so beautiful and special for the Kessler Wedding. The venue was absolutely beautiful and if you are ever in Coon Valley, WI you must take a visit to the Norskedalen Nature and Hertiage Center. The amazing food was catered by Rooster Andy's in La Crosse, WI. The beautiful ivory wedding dress is from David's Bridal, the flowers from Mabel's on Main in Cashton, WI and the cake was done at Linda's Bakery in West Salem, WI. All the beautiful decorations and fall details were designed by the bride's sister-in-law and she is very talented. Everyone worked hard to make the whole day stunning. Thank you!
