In a small high school, everyone usually knows everyone in some way. These two went to high school together and were just friends. Overtime, Kelsey would make a huge step in life and move to Idaho for a job. Just as she was getting settled in, she decided to move back to home…where she grew up. So, through mutual friends, Josh met Kelsey and they became more than friends. This was 6 years ago. Those friends were matchmakers.
For the proposal, Josh used a Christmas card picture to completely surprise her. As all family members were getting on their knees in front of the Christmas tree in front of a camera (I-phone timer), Josh was kneeling down on one knee and asked Kelsey to spend the rest of her life with him. The reactions from everyone made this proposal so special.
This engagement shoot was full of fun with huge tractors, cowboy boots, trucks and their dogs. (again, I can't say it enough by country life is the best) Kelsey's smile just brightens anyone's day and Josh could not help but look at her majority of the time. You can tell he just adores her. Enjoy these photos from this session. Can't wait for their wedding in October!
