This was a special wedding for me to capture with it being back at my home church and one of my close friends from high school getting married. John was the funny kid in our class and he always made everyone laugh even if they were having a bad day. He does the same for his bride, Laura. Her smile lights up a room and when she is around John, she instantly smiles and can't stop. The wedding was beautiful with it's moss and hand-made everything theme. The flower bouquet and boutonnieres were made out of paper by the amazing Caroline Stender of Modern Blooms. The back drop they got married in front of was a wall of books and moss done by the creative Yohannan filled with books of literature and history which these two love to read so how perfect. The reception was filled with moss, lights, fabric and my favorite part, letters of the first name of each person that was part of their wedding day paper mache' with different cities and each person got them as a gift. Such a great idea and you don't have to throw anything away. These two were know for that...being thoughtful and generous and loving. Throughout the whole day you saw it and in the ceremony where they gave everything to God and celebrated their union together with Christ in the center. I hope you enjoy looking through these images and want to go do a craft with paper cause I know I did. Congrats to these two and enjoy the next adventure in life together!
